NJLA 2009 Technology Innovation Forum Presentations

The CUS Luncheon speaker will be someone from Ithaka, which has recently merged with JSTOR. Note: the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) has released the final report from a study that ARL commissioned Ithaka to conduct, entitled “Current Models of DigitalScholarly Communication,” by Nancy L. Maron and K. Kirby Smith, along with the database of exemplars that the study produced, which is available online at: http://www.arl.org/bm~doc/current-models-report.pdf.

The NJLA Conference Committee has approved the following sessions sponsored by the NJLA Technology Committee:

  • Open Source Library Systems Developments Panel Session with JudyGardner, Project OLE Team at Rutgers, Mike Giarlo, Project ConiferConsultant, and John Stromquist, WALDO Koha Project., on Wed., April 29th, 11:30AM (Moderator: Mary Mallery); and
  • NJVid Video Portal presented by Grace Agnew, Rutgers U. Libraries, and Sandra Miller, William Paterson U on Wed., April 29th, 2:30PM.. (Moderator: Mary Mallery)
